I only have one more week in my Father/Son martial arts class. Its been a very interesting ride. I have learned so much about myself and the skills I possess or don't possess depending how you look at it. There is another series of classes scheduled for the Spring. In the meantime several of the students from this current class want private lessons.

We paid off Susan's Sears bill!!!!! No more $200.00 a month payments to them. This is a giant leap forward towards a house, out of this neighborhood I kindly refer to as Rwanda. There are a few houses that have caught our eyes so far. In addition there are several commercial sites I'm looking at for a martial arts school or a book store.

Ah well so much going on. Susan really digs her job. They LOVE her there. I'm teaching a class at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. Its a lot of fun. The class is made up of a bunch of kids and their dads. It was difficult at first not to be to aggressive but the dads don't care so I ran with it

Things are moving quickly towards Alabama. We are gonna be calling the bank on Monday to see about financing. This is the same bank that handles all of my families loans down there so we should be in good hands.

I'll be getting another 1000 books sometime soon for the bookstore. As of right now the plan is for us to move there with Susan transferring with CVS. I'll work for my Mom at her restaurant for a few months until either the bookstore or resale shop is ready to open.

Anyway thats about it right now.

A small update for the thralls who read this blog, feeding off my words as if they are the breath in their lungs......anyone.....anyone at all.

I'll be filming a little commercial for the self defense class on Nov. 10. That should be fun. Not much else going on. Susan digs her new job.

Scarface: Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, and fuck you, I'm out!

There are a couple new shows that are worth watching. Heroes and Dexter are my favorites. Really digging the character development on Heroes. Especially Samurai/Ninja Hiro at the end of Monday's episode. Dexter is quite possibly one of the best shows ever.

On the other hand, Hospital show 1,2,3,4.....Reality show 1,2,3,4.....Poorly written snarky comedy 1,2,3,4 Crime drama 1-10000000 can all go die in fire.

Brodie: Why can't they bring back or remake good shows . . . like B.J. and the Bear. Now there's a concept I can't get enough of: a man and his monkey.

Only a few more months then its Rome season 2 which will go back to being my favorite once its on.

I started drawing out floorplans and custom designs for the house we are going to build. I've been researching properties in Tennessee and we will be able to do what we want quite comfortably.

I saw Jet Li's Fearless and the first hour of Ong Bak, amazing simply amazing.

Happy Birthdays to Shannon and Jason!

World of Warcraft is flipping awesome. FOR THE HORDE!

Lots of good news lately. I have a new teaching gig at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. The class starts in January and goes for a couple months. It will be fun I'm gonna try and tape the lessons to put online on Youtube or something. Susan got a new job as an Assistant MGR at CVS she put in her notice today. Yay!!!!!

Danny Ocean: If all the animals on the equator were capable of flattery, then Thanksgiving and Hallowe'en would fall on the same date.

I leave for Alabama next week. My mom is going to be looking for a restaurant location. I'll be helping her look for that and a house. It will be nice to be there again but there is a lot of work that needs to be done for my grandparents. They have like 2 garages full of stuff to sell on ebay. So I'm taking my Palm Pilot and am gonna be taking pictures of everything and listing it when I get back.

My sale a few weeks ago didn't go as well as I'd hoped but I still learned alot. Ebay is still going well and hopefully while I'm in Alabama I can find a few more knives like I did last time and sell them for huge profits last time it was 10 times what I paid for it.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. Some junkie broke my driver side window and went through the car looking for money. Luckily this idiot was lazy or just ignorant because they left over $2000 in antiques in the back and took just over $2.00 in change instead. Dumbass.

Alrighty. So things are going swimmingly for me right now. Ebay business is rolling pretty well. I have my last big antique sale next weekend. Its gonna be a 3 day 12 hours a day affair. The antique mall where it will be held is always busy and has been advertising this for about 6 months, so I'm probably gonna do very well.

I've been looking into making jewelry boxes and leather satchels for craft shows during the fall and winter. I'm leaning towards the boxes since I actually have some experience in doing that. I think a nicely crafted box with some quality woodburning on it will fetch close to $50.00 a piece. If I can ever figure out how to post images, video and links on this damn thing I'll have some stuff to show you all.

I play World of Warcraft pretty regularly now. Its gotta be the best game in the universe. My main character is a lvl 39 orc hunter named Monyet the other one I use is a lvl 28 undead mage named Rajanaga so if anybody plays feel free to contact me in the game. I'm always looking for NICE people to play with.

Willy Wonka: [singing] There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination. Living there, you'll be free if you truly wish to be.

Plans for the move are still rolling. We are planning on being down there by the end of next summer. Everyone will be welcome at Garza Plantation. I'm trying to plan out how to best set up a 5 acre parcel of land. I want to have a veggie garden. But what I'd really like is to have about 20 fruit trees. Apples, peaches and avacadoes would be nice if its warm enough for them. I think grapes and blueberries will do well down there. The plan is (in my head) to be as self sustaining as possible when it comes to food.

On Wednesday nights I go to a new martial arts class. I do about an hour and a half of what they do which is kinda like Mixed Martial Arts. Its a good workout but it doesn't really help me with what I do. But they are kind enough to give me the last half hour to teach the class a few things. Ahhh I'll never get over the expressions on peoples faces when they first realise the simple brutal effectivness of what I do. One of the guys there decided that he would be a tough guy and continuously interupt me while I was explaining things. Those of you who know me know that doing that is the quickest way to get me angry. So this fool keeps yelling out that he would "just charge in" if I did any of those "fancy moves". First thing to remember people is that what I do isn't fancy, it just looks that way because its different than half naked men in panties rolling around on each other in a ring. So after the third time of hearing this from this dude, I grabbed one of the students there who moved well in what they teach there. I told him to do exactly what the other fool had said "just charge in".

As he charged in I stepped back and smashed my right elbow into the top of his lowered head. Gripping his head between my forearms I told the class that now this man is at my mercy because his body will follow where ever his neck leads him. I straightened out my arms and he flipped in mid air and fell to the ground. Still holding onto his head I explained that the difference between what they do which is a sport and what I do is that from this position they might go for a choke or somekind of painful submission on the arm, which would require them to let go of their opponent. In what I do instead of letting go and making myself vulnerable I simply continue twisting and break the opponents neck.

So in one "fancy move" without breaking a sweat the opponent is on the floor and the situation is dealt with.

That pretty much ended the discussion.

Hattori Hanzo: For those regarded as warriors, when engaged in combat the vanquishing of thine enemy can be the warrior's only concern. Suppress all human emotion and compassion. Kill whoever stands in thy way, even if that be Lord God, or Buddha himself. This truth lies at the heart of the art of combat.

By the way I didn't complete the move and my practicing dummy is still very much alive.

Please let us all remember that many things which are seen on tv, video games and sporting events will get you killed in a combative situation. And just because your kinda strong but fat and try to act like stone cold steve austin or some other guy doesn't mean you can do a damn thing. My personal favorites are the ones who play video games and assume that through osmosis with the controller they now can move like Liu Kang or some other blinking light.
